Larry/Charla's Story
Life
(Larry:Spent 7 years in Air Force, joined in Nov of '60, met my wife, Charla in New Mexico in '63. She had moved with family friends and we met in church the second Sunday she was there there. Was stationed in Roswell at Walker AFB at that time. We were married 5 months later and three months after that was transferred to Korea. Charla was back in Lake Charles for a year, then we went to Albany, Ga where our first child was born in '66. They closed that base and then we went to Plattsburg AFB in Plattsburg, NY. we moved to Denton,TX for me to go to Seminary in FT. Worth and have been here ever since.)
(Charla:After high school, attended McNeese for a while until I moved to Roswell, NM and met Larry. I worked for Dr.Perkins in LC after moving back. Worked for a dentist here as chairside and then office manager until Oct 31 of 2002 and then got laid off. TRICK or TREAT! Best thing that has happened to me. I've started my own business called "The HandyMa'ams". We do decorating, faux painting, wallpapering, etc. Hopefully I'll learn how to set up a webpage and I'll enclude it soon. Loved the reunion in 2001.}
